After years on the road as a photographer for news media and entertainment industries, Cole is pleased to call France her new Basecamp. Leaving behind her friends, family, and beloved Rocky Mountains in Canada for an adventure of a lifetime. With 30 years of jet setting photography, France didn't seem too much of a hardship compared to some of the countries she's worked in.

Most important in her life is the need to give back to those that need a little extra. Years of working closely with her contacts in the Armed Forces of many nations, she saw the toll that conflict takes on the soldiers personally. Battle PTSD,  as it's now known, is a scar that doesn't show on the surface and takes significant work to heal or even take a step forward. Working with Basecamp Retreats to bring veterans a new kind of sports centered program has always been a long term goal. A way of paying it forward to those that already paid their fair share. Cole is looking forward to bringing Veterans of all nations under one program to heal the unseen wounds of conflict. There is no harm in doing your part, no matter how small you think it is, to make the world a better place.
